Lead

Lead is a toxic metal that was used for many years in products found in and around our homes. Lead also can be emitted into the air from motor vehicles and industrial sources, and lead can enter drinking water from plumbing materials.  Lead may cause a range of health effects, from behavioral problems and learning disabilities, to seizures and death. Children under six years of age and pregnant women are at most risk.

Inspection

A surface-by-surface investigation to determine the presence of lead-based paint and the provision of a report explaining the results of the investigation.

Risk Assessment

1. An on-site investigation to determine the existence, nature, severity, and location of lead-based paint hazards.
2. Reporting findings, explaining the results of the investigation and options for reducing lead-based paint hazards.
